Sustainability
How MIVI is reducing its environmental footprint — from packaging to manufacturing to product longevity.
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Built to last, not to waste
At MIVI, sustainability means making products that last longer, using packaging that doesn't end up in landfill, and running a factory that operates responsibly.
Packaging
As of 2024, MIVI product boxes are made from 80% recycled paper. We have eliminated single-use plastic from all packaging. Our target is 100% recyclable packaging by 2026.
Product longevity
The most sustainable product is one you don't have to replace. Every MIVI earbud and headphone is designed for repairability — ear tips, cables, and charging cases are available as spare parts at mivi.in/spare-parts.
Our 1-year warranty and efficient repair process means fewer products in landfill. In 2023, our repair team restored over 50,000 devices that would otherwise have been discarded.
Manufacturing
Our Hyderabad facility runs on 40% renewable energy (rooftop solar). We target 100% renewable by 2027. We adhere to RoHS and WEEE standards — no restricted hazardous substances in any component.
E-waste
MIVI partners with Attero Recycling for authorised e-waste collection. Drop off any MIVI product at the end of its life at any authorised collection point. We handle disposal responsibly.

• 100% recyclable packaging by 2026
• 100% renewable energy in manufacturing by 2027
